@upadhyeammit has been responsible for releases, but he doesn’t have commit access on foreman.git, foreman-documentation.git, foreman-installer.git, foreman-selinux.git, smart-proxy.git and theforeman.org.git. As release manager this means you are limited in your tasks since you can’t push tags and version bumps. Having to rely on others to do your work is bad. It also doesn’t make sense to me to trust someone to do releases but then not give the permissions to do so. That’s why I’m nominating him for commit access.
Note that I may have forgotten some other repositories.
At the same time I’m proposing we create a new group Releases on Github which has access to those repositories. Then add him to that group. That makes it easier for others to gain the same permissions.
