Packages on the primary and patch via the proxy

Hi all!

How would it be possible to have a foreman ‘primary’ with the packages , a smart-proxy (without packages) and patch via the smartproxy but the packages on the primary?

for those curious on the why, the idea is to have all the packages centralized (no duplicates on each location) but remote commands via the proxy so that the ssh part only happens from the proxy to the client.

foreman ‘primary’ (with packages) - https → smart-proxy (no packages) - ssh-> clients (yum foreman ‘primary’ on the repos conf )

For now the the best you can do is on-demand. Katello 4.5 RC1 and above exposes a “streamed” option which should address your case.
