Postgresql 15 support

Greetings,

With Postgresql 12 reaching EOL in November, we are looking at migrating our postgresql backend that supports foreman/katello to postgresql 15.

The postgresql services run on their own dedicated server. Are there any know issues that can be reported with migrating to PG15 from a foreman point of view?

Postgres 12 will only EOL on RHEL 8 in 2029[1], you can take a look here Red Hat Enterprise Linux Application Streams Life Cycle - Red Hat Customer Portal .

With all the effort to release the EL9, we will soon have a new version of postgres for EL9.
