i`m using Ubuntu 9.10 and i try to install the foreman_0.1.5-1_all.deb
package
While try to install it i running in following error:
Selecting previously deselected package foreman.
(Reading database … 139754 files and directories currently
installed.)
Unpacking foreman (from …/foreman_0.1.5-1_all.deb) …
dpkg: warning: unable to delete old directory '/etc/rc.d/init.d':

Has somebody an idea what is going wrong there?

Hi Chris,
I think that deb maintainer (Jochen S) say it was tested against Ubuntu
10.04… please feel free to open a new ticket, and we would try to release
a new version that supports Ubuntu 9.10 too.

You may try the new packages from Joshen, currently as attachment to
http://theforeman.org/issues/357
I'll appreciate if you can report any problems, as we plan on releasing
these packages soon.
