Proposal: Move Katello github issues -> foreman redmine

Today during scrum we proposed migrating new (and existing) github
issues over to Foreman's redmine, landing here:

Things we need todo to make this happen:

  1. Update wiki to point to Redmine:
  1. Update Katello's README to also point at Redmine:

https://github.com/Katello/katello

  1. Migrate existing (open issues only) issues from github to redmine:

https://github.com/Katello/katello/issues?labels=bug&state=open

there weren't any big objections today so unless anyone else says
otherwise we will work on making this happen.

If no one objects, I'd like to start moving issues over to redmine from Github. Before I do that though, could everyone go through the issues they created and just check to make sure they're still valid? Go to https://github.com/Katello/katello/issues?labels=bug&state=open and click on "Created by you." Please do this by the end of the day Friday, January 10th.

Thanks.

+1 for moving

Technical question for Foreman folks - am I able to subscribe only to
specific projects rather to all of them? By that I mean e-mail
notifications.

I already have full inbox of Foreman related issues and comments, I'd
like to subscribe per issue for Katello project(s).

I did not find anything there. My email notification setting is "for any
event on all my projects". But I guess I will (and want) to be member of
Katello project with at least reporting permissions (new issue, comment
or subscribe per issue).

Thanks

Later,

Lukas “lzap” Zapletal
irc: lzap #theforeman

Are we planning to only track our issues or follow the workflow that all
things, features and bugs, must have an issue attached to them?

You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups
"foreman-dev" group.
To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an
email to foreman-dev+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com.
For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out.

I'm leaning toward the former since we already track our features in Trello. But I am fine with either.
