Pulp shell

Problem: Getting a security alert because the pulp account has /bin/bash as its login shell and it has never logged in. Will katello work correctly if I change the shell to /bin/login?

Expected outcome: katello operates normally

Foreman and Proxy versions: foreman 2.4.0, katello 4.0.1-1

Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:

Distribution and version: CentOS 7.9

@bradawk I’m not sure about the answer, but I’ve pinged the pulp-dev IRC chat and see if they know off the top of their heads.

One comment by @evgeni was that it might work, but that the changes might be overwritten by the installer - something to keep in mind.

OK. Good to know. If I put the pulp user into salt with a nologin shell, then even if the rpm does change it, salt will change it back.

Thanks!
