Hi,
I have installed Ubuntu 16.04 on client system using foreman, when I run
puppet agent --test on it is throwing an error.
"Error: /File[/var/lib/puppet/facts.d]: Failed to generate additional
resources using 'eval_generate': Failed to open TCP connection to
mydomain.com:8140 (getaddrinfo: Name or service not known)"Thanks.

Your client can't resolve mydomain.com, try to fix DNS or add it to /etc/hosts.
