I'm running up against this issue:

I've been digging through the source looking for where it checks if
the user has permissions to no avail. Willing to hack in a "don't
check permissions for this" but just can't find it.
Any suggestions?
I'd vote for the feature request but for the life of me can't remember
my user id. I can reset my password at will but can't find anything
to trigger my failed memory.
