Problem:
We are making use of foreman to manage our servers. While trying to onboard Windows servers to foreman we’re getting below error while trying to install the puppet agent msi (puppet-agent-6.21.1-x64) on few machines. Most of the servers facing this issue are Windows 2012 STD/Datacenter. But we’ve successfully installed puppet agent in many 2012 servers, so bit confused on why this error is getting popped-up for few. Couldn’t find anything that leads us to a solution in google, so just trying out here. Any help will be much appreciated.
This is a very Puppet specific problem and has nothing to do with Foreman, so you might be better of checking with them. I doubt anyone here will be able to help you with that.
