I’m sorry, I don’t understand the question. If you want to link the host during registration to your puppet infra, use host group which has the puppet proxy and puppet ca proxy set.

curl command is auto-generated by foreman web-ui register host
but never sucess

Why is it trying to curl to an IP address? Shouldn’t that be your Foreman fqdn?

@lstejska do you know what would cause the registration command to have an IP address?

If you access Foreman by IP and not by its FQDN, then the command is generated to the IP as well.

no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name '192.168.204.231'

Maybe if you access Foreman and generate the command with the fqdn instead of IP, it will help with this?
