Upon tagging the 3.0 release there was request to cherry pick changes in 3.0-stable. Apart from usual communication about release time-line its agreed to give heads up to core maintainers team prior to few days of tagging to ensure we have everything we wish to have in release.

- The RC2 pipelines failed because of EPEL updating qpid-proton package version. So unless we get new gem version 0.35 of qpid_proton its blocked.
- There are 3 issues pending for 4.2, after getting these fixed shall be doing 4.2 GA instead of another RC.
