Because of the Foreman 3.8 GA delay the 3.7.1 release will be postponed by a week due to capacity.

Katello 4.10

  • 4.10.0 GA was announced by accident (Katello 4.10.0 is now available) but the actual release hadn’t happened yet. This has been noted and will be updated once it is live.
  • Currently up @pcreech to do the release engineering bits.
  • Waiting on Foreman 3.8.0 GA to really be released

While reviewing where it went wrong it was noted that the procedure doesn’t mention Katello GA should wait on Foreman GA. @iballou will submit a PR to make that explicit. In addition to that @ekohl will look at precise instructions to verify that the GA version really is released before announcing. Ideally with a script.

Katello 4.9

4.9.2 is still marked as in progress in Katello 4.9.2 release process but Update katello to 4.9.2 by Odilhao · Pull Request #9841 · theforeman/foreman-packaging · GitHub suggests steps were taken to really release it. @wbclark and @Odilhao aren’t present to clarify. @iballou will make sure it’s clarified.
