- @Zhunting is the release engineer, unlike what was initially posted
- Installer module releases are being prepared by merging all the required features

- Some modules added Puppet 8 support, but it’s unlikely that Foreman 3.9 will support Puppet 8. Perhaps as experimental.
- Pulp 3.40 is still targeted
- Packaging is still needed
- app entrypoint no longer supports --max-requests-jitter · Issue #4679 · pulp/pulpcore · GitHub needs to be released before puppet-pulpcore can be updated to the new pulpcore-api entrypoint
- file:// sync deletes files from directory · Issue #4681 · pulp/pulpcore · GitHub is also a blocker
- Timing wise it should be wrapped done this week. Ideally we wouldn’t eat into stabilization week

- We want to encourage all plugin authors to have compatible releases when Foreman RC1 is released. Also a call that should go into the stabilization wek start announcement.
