Present: @ekohl @ogajduse @sajha @qcjames53 @ColeHiggins2 @iballou @pshekar
Foreman nightly / 3.15
- Nightly builds are unblocked thanks to https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2025:4245. That also affected stable builds.
- We’ve already entered the prep week: Foreman 3.15 Schedule and Planning
- @lhellebr will be release owner and post the branching procedure
- @ogajduse will be release engineer
- @pcreech will start scheduling the Monday release team meeting as well
Foreman 3.14
- Still blocked on @ekohl
Foreman 3.13
- Signed all the packages but @ogajduse lacked the permissions in Jenkins to trigger a job. Fixed by @pcreech
Katello nightly / 4.17
Katello 4.16
- @qcjames53 will release 4.16.1 and soon post the release process
Other
- @ekohl to make sure Katello release owners have permissions on theforeman-rel-eng. Issue turned out to be that @qcjames53 wasn’t part of the Katello release owners group, even if he was a release owner for 4.16.
- @ColeHiggins2 started a document on being the release owner. We discussed how to integrate it. @ekohl suggested it’s best to integrate it into theforeman-rel-eng so it lives together with the procedures. If needed we can copy the same pattern foreman-infra uses, which is to use mkdocs and then publish it using GitHub Pages.
