Remove obsolete smart class parameters

Hello everybody,

I have a small problem with my foreman installation concerning obsolete
smart class parameters. I've upgraded the rkhunter module which changed the
naming of the class parameters. When I set values to the new parameters I
can still see the old, no longer in use parameters:

How can I get rid of the old, obsolete entries?

Regards Thomas

Which version of Foreman are you using? 1.10.1 contains a fix
(Bug #7517: Puppet class parameter not removed from environment after an import - Foreman) that removes obsolete
parameters that have overrides/matchers. In previous versions you'd
need to delete them.

It may also remain if it's listed on another Puppet environment.

Hi Dominic,

I use 1.10.1 on CentOS 6 but shame on me, I should upgrade both
environments …

Thanks for the link that point me to the environment.

Hi Howie,

yes, I solved the problem. I have two environments, development and production. I forgot to update the class in both environments, so I saw the old style and the new style. After upgrading the module in both environments, the old parameters disappear as expected.
