SCA and virt-who expectations

Hi,

I just got virt-who installed and switched over to Simple Content Access.

one thing I noticed is that on the subscriptions page, that the consumed column now remains 0.

Is this to be expected?

Oh I am running foreman 3.10 with katello 4.12.1, and virt-who 0.5.20.

Yes, this is expected. With SCA all subscription counting has moved outside of Katello.

Hopefully you already tag your systems with system purpose attributes. If you do this and you also install the foreman_rh_cloud plugin, you can upload your Foreman+Katello host inventory to Red Hat. Then you can get reports about subscription usage at console.redhat.com.
