Seamless-cockpit and Foreman

AFAIK this hasn’t been implemented.

So it means if you integrate SSO cockpit in foreman , you have to use root as a user via login and cannot be change to some other user?

Also can you please let me know where I can change the user from root to non root user in code, so I will work for me.

Hello Everyone issue resolved , thank you everyone.

Can you please share the solution in case others run into the same issue in the future?

First we need to update manual that if we access foreman via IP (in browser) and not domain it will break few things specially cockpit SSO and give error “sorry try again” because its generate license
and accept only request come from domain.

Secondly if you add parameter in individual host parameters “remote_execution_ssh_user” and mention user but make sure that user in wheel group and no password required in VISUDO.

enable effective user as root in administer settings, so all remote executions work properly and cockpit without any problem.
