Several problems installing Katello 2.3 on EL 7.2

Hi,

I've been trying to install Katello on RHEL 7.2 and I'm not able to get it
to install. I've tried to overridy manually several of the problems that
reports the installer, but I always end up with a failed installation.

If this is the first error, mongo's not starting. Do you have a minimum of 4gb
available in /var/lib/mongodb?

Also check the journal for errors.

Hi,

I already started over before posting in the group. Both times I got this
problema with openssl. When I redeployed the VM, got this new error with
mongo that fixed by extending the storage.
I never tried with katello-remove, just yum remove, rm -rf everything
related to katello (pulp, puppet, foreman, etc) and install everything
again.
I'm going to try katello-remove and see if it works.

Hi Stephen,

Katello-remove did the trick! thank you very much, it seems I didn't
delete everything and things go bad in the next installs.
Thanks again.

hi Stephen,

Thanks for your reply. After posting I was able to find that in the logs
and got mongo working, but still had problems. I reinstalled and deleted
configs to see if it had to do with garbage from previous install tries,
but still no luck.
Here are the remaining problems. The private keys seem to have a different
password than the stored in the temp files. Also have some problems with
postgres seed process.
I'm trying with katello 2.4 with no luck.

What did you delete? I would expect this probably removed some things we
needed, I'd start over on a clean box if you can. Or try running
katello-remove and then trying again.
