My clients connecting to my satellite al suffer the same problem.
When trying to invoke yum it is extremely slow.
When running it verbose it hangs on "Updating Subscription Management
repositories"
It also seems that when running subscription manager it tries to connect to
the satellite over the proxy to the internet. This seams weird as the
satellite server is just in another subnet, not on the internet.
