Hi all. Is anyone aware of a way to get release versions working with oracle linux for katello? is if try a list or set it just show no version available.
ie
subscription-manager release --set=blah
Currently on foreman 2.5/katello 4.1

Release version is defined in the repository metadata. Oracle repos are custom repos, and release version is not available for custom repositories. So with those repos you unfortunately won’t be able to use it.
Oh bugger, fair enough. thanks for getting back to me, its much appreciated. So thats a katello thing rather than Oracle thing is it ie our old Centos repos will be for the same reason?
Yes, unfortunately release version only works with official Red Hat repositories.
