Supported operatingsystem Foreman with Katello

Hi there,

I want to set up a new foreman infrastructure but get a litte confused about whats supported. The Manual explicit says “Foreman 2.1 introduced EL8 support and Katello 4.0 (on Foreman 2.4) followed” but on the other side the Quickstart Guide does not contain EL8 support. I really would like to run Foreman with Katello on EL8 but is it supported under any circumstances?

CentOS8 is EL8 :slight_smile:

So it is definitely supported as in “if it works on CentOS 8 (stream) it should also work on any other EL8-based distribution like RHEL8, Alma8 etc”.
