To get the system provisioned for OL 8

Do we need to have the foreman’s latest version and do we need the foreman installed on OL8 to get the other system provisioned from OL 8

Foreman must be installed on Enterprise Linux 8 or 9. The current version of Foreman can provision EL8 systems. I’m not sure if Foreman can be installed on Oracle Linux, but I know it can provision those systems.

Note that if you want to use Katello for content management (including provisioning from synced content), it must be installed at the same time as Foreman and cannot be added later.
