Unable to use a new PXELinux template

Problem:
After cloning the “Kickstart default PXELinux”, to “Kickstart default PXELinux RH-Beta OS”, changing the “name:” field in the header to match, submitting it (successfully), and associating it with a new OS (successfully), I am unable to use it when adding it to a new host.

Expected outcome:
Ability to utilize the new template for the new OS associated to it.

Foreman and Proxy versions:
Foreman 2.5.2
Proxy 2.5.1

Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:
None.

Distribution and version:

Other relevant data:

  • Operating Systems > “RH-Beta OS” > Templates > PXELinux template lists the new template
  • All Hosts > Create Host > Operating System > Provisioning Templates [ Resolve ] lists my new template for PXELinux template Template
  • All Hosts > Create Host > Operating System > PXE loader = PXELinux BIOS

However, when I submit, I receive: " Unable to save * No PXELinux templates were found for this host, make sure you define at least one in your “RH-Beta OS” settings or change PXE loader"

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome. Check the template kind, ensure it is set to PXELinux.

Maybe few screenshots would help, you clearly associated something incorrectly but I am unable to tell from what I see.
