Unbale to configure VMware vcenter (Datacenter empty)

Problem:
Compute Resoures (vmware) doesnt load datacenters.
It is possible to almost configure the connection to vcenter. However the datacenter select box is empty. I am sure there are datacenters because I am using it with version 1.19.1. The fingerprint is also retrieved (it shows up in fingerprint field).
It is also not possible to save the configuration, because datacenter is mandatory field.
Expected outcome:
datacenters can be retrieved from vcenter
Foreman and Proxy versions:
1.22.2
Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:

Other relevant data:
[e.g. logs from Foreman and/or the Proxy, modified templates, commands issued, etc]

Hi, don’t you have the datacenters in the folder on the vCenter site?

We have exactly 2 datacenters. I dont know what you mean by “in the folders”.

In the vSphere you can create folders for datacenters and you can put the datacenter in those. So they would not appear as direct child of the root node. But as you have only two, it is not very likely you would need to organize them as such, right?

yes, in my case they appear directly under vcenter root node.

I’m having the same issue. Installed version 1.22 on a freshly installed CentOS VM.
A week ago I was able to add the cluster with foreman version 1.20, so it seems to be an issue with this particular version.
Happy to post any logs if you tell me what you need

I get this error, while in the UI it states “Connection succesful”

And clicking a second time on “load datacenter” fills in the only cluster I have.
It turned out to be a username typo

So the login error didn’t get propagated to the UI?

Happy to hear it was just a typo I will try to look into the proper error propagation.
