Webpack-rails is no longer maintained

Hello all,

I noticed the gem webpack-rails is no longer maintained. They suggest using webpacker, which seems to be rails supported webpack intergration solution.

Should we think about moving to webpacker? I know things are working fine at the moment, but I wonder if we will start to see issues using an unmaintained gem in this part of our application.

see https://github.com/theforeman/foreman/pull/5033 it seems the blocker was, that it doesn’t support engines.

Thanks! I figured I couldn’t have been the first one to notice :slight_smile: I commented on the PR as I don’t see a clear alternative resolution.
