Problem:
This problem is similar to Remote execution - update/reboot succeeded - security errata still shown as applicable and Content host shows installable updates (package updates) that are already installed and running.
I am running Pulp version 2.
Pulp
Version
2.0.0
Pulp server version
2.21.3
Database connection
Messaging connection
Workers
6
Supported Content Types
deb
puppet
yum
Pulpcore
Version
2.0.0
Supported Content Types
docker
file
I am able to update packages by selecting them under
host --> content --> errata and then selecting the list of all of the errata.
The task status shows “success” but it says that no package has been installed.
When I look into the client using yum update
I see that the packages have been updated/installed.
However the number of errata stays same in foreman web UI and hammer also reports the same.
I have run foreman-rake katello:import_applicability
and that didn’t fix the issue either.
