Foreman-installer 1.8.2-1: unrecognized option --enable-foreman-plugin-discovery

Hey guys,

I currently tried to install the Foreman discovery plugin and download the
discovery Images with the Foreman-installer like it is documented in the
current documentation for 1.8 in
Foreman :: Manual.

But If I use one of the following Parameters:

–enable-foreman-plugin-discovery
–foreman-plugin-discovery-install-Images

I get the Response that These are unrecognized Options.

I use the installer Version "1.8.2-1" under ubuntu 14.04 and installed the
installer from

deb http://deb.theforeman.org/ trusty 1.8

The Options are also not listed with foreman-installer --help

If I downgrade the installer to 1.7.0-1, the Options are listed and can be
used.

Did I anything wrong or is this a mistake in the installer?

Hello, check the spelling and case sensitivity. It's there.

It sounds like the installer config file or your answers file may not
have it listed, which can stop it being shown at all. This can happen
on upgrades.

Please make sure that /etc/foreman/foreman-installer.yaml has the
following lines in it:

And that /etc/foreman/foreman-installer-answers.yaml also has:

"foreman::plugin::discovery": false

in it.

Please find attached the output of

#sudo foreman-installer --help > help.log.

I tried with different cases but no way.

Is there a way to verify that I've got the correct installer?
